Project Eagle

I absolutely loved working on this collaboration between our Blackbird team and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab. The aim was to create an inspiring vision of mars colonization for the public using interactive media - and also make it seem real and plausible. The project is being presented at DICE 2017 and we got the brief a few weeks prior so we had to slam the concepts together in days based on our predictions of how a futuristic layout might look.

I think the most exciting thing about Project Eagle was getting the chance to interface with the crew at NASA because we have so much respect and awe for the work they do as actual space engineers and scientists. But they were also looking at our stuff and seeing how these conceptual ideas could be realized and designed by artists so we were feeding off each others ideas and energy. I hope you enjoy.
